YOUR OUTREACH UNIFIED (YOU)
We’re delighted to share Your Outreach Unified (YOU), the future of how outreach homelessness services in Glasgow will be delivered. Our team, guided by the Alliance principle of What’s Best for People, has worked with people and partners from across the sector, including people with experience of homelessness, current outreach services, the workforce and academia, to create a new vision for Glasgow’s outreach.
The Future of Outreach is a departure from the typical tender specifications. We’ve created a process for how the Alliance will redesign and award services, enabling us to work collaboratively with Alliance partners and the sector. We’ve collaborated with Alliance partners and Network Members (those currently delivering commissioned homelessness services) to create YOU: Solution, which takes the vision for YOU: Future of Outreach and details how we’ll make it happen. We thank our Alliance partners and Network Members for their commitment, time and sharing of expertise and knowledge as part of this process.

Here’s what you need to know
Could you be a new network member?
Glasgow’s an open and diverse city, and we want to reflect that. We welcome specialist providers and other interested organisations from sectors such as technology, research, health, education and others from across Scotland and the UK to get involved in our drive to end homelessness in Glasgow by 2030.
Organisations that may have found barriers to entry in service provision will be encouraged to discuss how they can get involved with the Alliance by completing an Expression of Interest form. This shouldn’t be viewed as in connection with the Future of Outreach document and will be a standard document inviting organisations to express an interest in working with the Alliance. The Expression of Interest document will be available to complete at any point. It’s a chance to indicate the types of activity that your organisation may undertake. The Alliance team will collate these responses, and each submission will receive an individual response with an outline of the next steps.

The Alliance is a new way of working for everyone. As we begin to take on responsibility for commissioned homelessness services, there will be a lot of learning. It’s a collaborative journey, and we always welcome feedback on how we can improve our work. We have a range of Forums that people can engage with, and the Alliance team are available to talk.
