We’re delighted to share Your Outreach Unified (YOU), the future of how outreach homelessness services in Glasgow will be delivered. Our team, guided by the Alliance principle of What’s Best for People, has worked with people and partners from across the sector, including people with experience of homelessness, current outreach services, the workforce and academia, to create a new vision for Glasgow’s outreach.

The Future of Outreach is a departure from the typical tender specifications. Please note that its publication doesn’t mean the start of tender activity. Very soon, we’ll publish a process that describes how we’ll work with the sector: we must continue to engage and collaborate with the sector throughout the solution build period.

Network Profiles

We’ll contact network partners (those of you currently delivering commissioned homelessness services in Glasgow) separately and ask you to complete a standard profile template. This profile doesn’t relate to the publication of the outreach document, but is a standard profile document that will help us gather important, general information about your organisation so we can understand the types of services you provide. As we progress through the solution build of outreach, during part of the collaborative process, network members will be asked to complete a much more detailed submission, specifically related to outreach.

Could you be a new network member?

Glasgow’s an open and diverse city, and we want to reflect that. We welcome specialist providers and other interested organisations from sectors such as technology, research, health, education and others from across Scotland and the UK to get involved in our drive to end homelessness in Glasgow by 2030.

Organisations that may have found barriers to entry in service provision will be encouraged to discuss how they can get involved with the Alliance. We’ll publish an Expression of Interest form shortly that organisations can complete. This shouldn’t be viewed as in connection with the Future of Outreach document and will be a standard document inviting organisations to express an interest in working with the Alliance. The Expression of Interest document will be available to complete at any point. It’s a chance to indicate the types of activity that your organisation may undertake. The Alliance team will collate these responses, and each submission will receive an individual response with an outline of the next steps.

This is a monitored inbox, and we’ll respond to you within a few working days of your enquiry. We’re a small team, and we hope you understand that we’re expecting a large volume of communications related to outreach. We kindly request that you don’t email the Alliance team members directly with any Outreach related questions and use the email address specified above.

We’ll also be publishing an FAQ shortly to support you with any questions you may have.

General Feedback

The Alliance is a new way of working for everyone. As we begin to take on responsibility for commissioned homelessness services, there will be a lot of learning. It’s a collaborative journey, and we always welcome feedback on how we can improve our work. We have a range of Forums that people can engage with, and the Alliance team are available to talk.
